• To place an order just give us a call at 907-929-2265 or send an email to dessertfirst907@gmail.com or for a custom cake by Catharine you can email cakesbycatharine@gmail.com  and someone will respond to you as quickly as possible. However, if you order falls within the 48 hour notice we suggest calling just in case we are busy baking and catering and are unable to check our email quickly. Also note that many specialty cakes made with fondant/gum paste or molding chocolate require more than 48 hours notice and last minute notice could make us unable to accommodate your request.


  • We require payment when placing order or 5 business days prior to date of order pickup.


  • For larger events ie: dessert buffets, weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebrations we require 50% non-refunable deposit to reserve your event on our calendar and the remaining balance is due 5 business prior to date of order pickup/delivery.


  • If we are booked for the dates requested you can inquire as to what whole desserts we have on hand in the café for the day, they may be purchased at the café per slice price.


  • If you are interested in setting up an event consult or tasting just give us a call and we will discuss details and available times with you. A cake tasting cost $15 and consist of 3 choices of cake flavors as well as fillings & frosting you may be interested in. Please come prepared with ideas and pictures you have about your design concept.


  • We accept all major credit cards, cash and checks more than 10 business days in advance.


  • Orders are generally scheduled for pickup Mon-Fri before close at 5:30PM, some adjustments can be arranged for special occasions that occur while we are closed.


Please note: We ask for miminum 48 hours notice and if during the holidays 10 days or more is preferred.
